Bookkeeper (CR462)

Our client, a farm based in the Klipheuwel region, is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to perform a variety of bookkeeping and financial tasks.

Bookkeeper responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. The successful candidate should be familiar with all bookkeeping procedures and comfortable with intermediate Excel functionalities.


  • Processing of source documentation to trial balance on ZERO

  • Monthly wages and salaries on ZERO payroll

  • Diesel rebate admin and claims at SARS

  • Tax related admin for the group of companies

  • Filing of all documentation

  • Invoices and statements prepared for payment

  • Issue and reconciling of invoices

  • Reconciliation of bank statements

  • Fixed asset register

  • Minutes of monthly management meetings

  • Personnel administration e.g., employment contracts and leave registers up to date

  • Administration of company's pension fund

  • Prepare monthly VAT and PAYE reconciliations, complete returns and submit via e-filing

  • Purchasing of office supplies

  • Neatness of the office

  • WCA returns and admin


  • 2 - 5 years proven accounting experience, preferably as a bookkeeper

  • Excellent Excel skills

  • Relevant financial tertiary qualification

  • Well organized

  • Fluent in Afrikaans & English


Monday – Friday, 08:00 - 17:00


R18 000 – R23 000
