Our client, a manufacturing concern based in Stellenbosch is seeking a dynamic and energetic Brand Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the FMCG market and consumer behaviour. Superior EQ and exceptional communication skills are required to engage with a broad variety of stakeholders. The ability to conceptualize, plan and implement creative marketing plans will be key for this role.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Develop brand strategy in line with organizational objectives
Conduct consumer and category research ability to develop brand imperatives
Map out key communication and activation tactics to deliver required objectives
Produce brand plans on an annual basis, complete with objectives and ensure organizational understanding and monitor execution
Ensure all brand development is based on data and evidence gleaned from reliable and recognized sources
Develop an innovation pipeline for brand based on market and consumer understanding
Good working relationship with Marketing Manager ensuring clear and concise communication
Collaborative work ethic with colleagues inside and outside of department
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or commerce or MBA
Minimum of 3-5 years in a brand marketing position within the FMCG market, preferably beverages, exposure to brand strategy, understanding of brand financials, execution of brand strategy. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing Communications strategy and insight led marketing.
Valid driver’s license
Exposure to Brand strategy and understanding of brand financials
