We are looking for a skilled HR / Payroll administrator to oversee all aspects of Human Resources and Payroll. You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives.
The successful candidate will be based in Montague Gardens at the Group’s Head Office.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Interview and recruit skills to fill job openings.
Promote a healthy working environment for staff and management.
Handle labour disputes and remedy any issues and employee might have.
Develop and initiate training and orientation plans for new starters.
Report on the cost of HR and current/future recruitment needs/drive.
Manage risk by being compliant with South Africa labour laws and recommendations.
Stay abreast of all labour legislation and evolving needs of the employer and its employees.
Perform payroll and employee benefit duties
Collect and analysing employee data via internal surveys to measure employer satisfaction and develop talent retention strategies.
HR Qualification / Degree
2-3 year relevant HR experience
Knowledge and experience in SA labour legislation
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Good administration skills
Pro-active, forward thinker who enjoys working independently
Good time management and organised work ethic
Approachable, good listener and patient
A good judge of character
Ability to represent the Human Resource function as part of the bigger business picture
This position will involve, as required, travel within South Africa.
R20 000 CTC (negotiable depending on qualification / experience)
