Litigation Secretary (CR372)

Our client, an established law firm based in Paarl is looking for an experienced Litigation Secretary with extensive administrative and clerical experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Dictaphone typing

· Typing of general correspondence

· Instructing attorneys on client’s behalf

· Managing the litigation process with attorneys

· Telephonic client liaison

· Consult with clients

· Personal Assistant responsibilities


REQUIREMENTS:

· 10 Years proven experience as a litigation secretary

· Knowledge of constitution, legal terminology, regulations and court system

· Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with legal technology (court-filing computer systems, transcription software, dictaphone etc.)

· Proficiency in Afrikaans & English

· Outstanding time-management and typing skills

· Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people

· Litigation Secretary certification or diploma advantageous

· GhostPractice Software experience advantageous


SALARY:

R10 000 – R20 000 (negotiable depending on your experience)

WORKING HOURS:

Monday – Friday 08:00 - 17:00
