Our client who is based in Wellington is looking for an Executive Personal Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks and support the company’s CEO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and international stakeholders
Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
Manage CEO’s calendar and set up meetings
Make travel and accommodation arrangements for the CEO and for international stakeholders
Request payments and allocate different expenses as set out by the CEO
Oversee the performance of other clerical staff
Act as an office manager
Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports, newsletters
Take minutes during meetings
Screen and direct phone calls and emails and distribute correspondence
Organize and maintain the office filing system
Act as organization’s vehicle proxy
REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years’ work experience as an Executive Personal Assistant
Excellent MS Office knowledge
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with office gadgets and applications (e.g. e-calendars and copy machines)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English 1st & Afrikaans 2nd )
Discretion and confidentiality
Ability to work independently and at times alone in the office
Be able to work well under pressure, and open to learn on the job
Driver’s license
High School degree
PA diploma or certification is a plus
SALARY
Negotiable depending on experience
